Insite has formed associations with architects and designers specializing in leaky building remedial work with the specific aim of providing ‘leaky’ home owners with a “one stop shop” service. The emphasis of these collaborations is efficiency and economy within the design process, whilst maintaining the quality of workmanship and service that is our benchmark for performance.

This “one stop shop” service, which has not previously been available to owners, brings together the remedial design and building processes under one roof.

The extent of work required is determined through an independent report. This can be obtained through the WHRS or by engaging a building surveyor qualified in this area.

We can facilitate an introduction to a surveyor if required.

Once we receive the report, remedial design options can be discussed. We can provide budget estimates on various re-cladding options to direct initial concepts. Once a solution is agreed upon that meets both budget and construction criteria, final documentation is prepared.

If a legal claim forms part of the process an independent quantity surveyor is engaged to provide a budget for the remedial works. Insite also provides a comprehensive quotation for the work including realistic allowances for rot replacement and associated unquantifiable works.

As well as a quality management program for the works, we also prepare cost analysis documentation in a format that is presentable as part of a legal claim. This documentation along with the independent quantity surveyor’s initial estimate forms the basis for the claim of recoverable costs.

Many people take the opportunity to complete additions and alterations as part of a remedial project. We can team owners up with architects and designers that meet the requirements of a client’s specific project.
